I am back, I am different. After fourteen months in combat I return to my wonderful wife of three years, and Buster my cat. I also return to loose some experiences into the fiction and science fiction realms. I will be offering you new stories and rewrites and edits of old stories. I am officially out of the Active Army and in the National Guard here in Cottage Grove. I continue to write in the Sci-Fi and Fantasy realms. I also draw a bit. Speaking of drawing the winner of the Fantasy Art give away was Carmen Brinkley, this was a totally fixed drawing and she would have won reguardless of anyone elses submissions!
Interests
I am interested in game arts and graphic design as a character designer, equipment and weapons designer, vehicle (ground, space, air) designer, I have strong 2D skills (pencil, ink, color) and can learn any graphics program. This does sound like a resume, but I am a very high commodity and I do have to market myself.
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV Shows
I was a big SG1 fan, liked Farscape, and I am a big Anime fan. Favorite animes are almost always Master Shirow's.
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Books
The Sandy Mitchell's Caiaphas Cain series (reminds me a lot of Ol' Flashy!), and Gaunt's Ghosts. A Commissar of the Imperial Guard who walks the fine line between duty and death.
Favorite Music
Anything from Rage Against the Machine (minus their political views) to Nora Jones. |
